Carlisle County has a 20-acre park near the city of Bardwell off of County Road 1300. The park includes two ball fields. Ballgames are held during the summer months. Refreshments are served during games with plenty of seating available. Hopefully in the very near future there will be a playground located between the two ball fields.
There is a recreational ring used for many events from horse shows to demolition derbies and tractor pulls. A paved walking trail follows the perimeter of the grounds and is .8 of a mile in length with benches added for resting or just catching your breath. There are restrooms, a shelter, and picnic facilities also available.
The Park is home to the Carlisle County Fair, a yearly event that is held each summer. Rodeos, singing events, and many more activities occur here at our park.
